An Introduction from Eric Layman, Evidential Medium
Hello, and welcome. I'm Eric Layman, an Evidential Medium. Whether you're grieving, curious about your own gifts, or ready to develop as a medium yourself, I want you to know you're in the right place — because at the heart of everything I do is a single idea: I'm a bridge.
A real bridge holds weight from both directions. On one side, I'm a bridge for the living — reconnecting you with someone you've lost, or helping you develop a gift you already sense in yourself. On the other side, I'm a bridge for those in spirit, reaching toward us and waiting for a clear, steady channel through which to be heard. My job is simply to be that channel, honestly and well.
Private Sittings — A Bridge to Someone You Love
A private sitting is a one-to-one evidential session, where I bridge the space between you and your loved ones in spirit — bringing through the shared memories and small, everyday details that show they're still involved in your life. They know what happened to a photograph, that a watch was kept, that the china broke in a move. For many people, this is where the bridge is crossed for the first time.
Classes and Training — Learning to Build the Bridge Yourself
For those who feel the pull to develop mediumistic ability, I teach as an Authorized Mavis Pittilla Teacher, certified to teach her Whole Medium Approach. Mavis — one of the world's most respected evidential mediums — personally authorized me to teach her work before she died. It's a real, conferred lineage, not a claim anyone can make lightly, and it's how I help students build their own bridge, from first curiosity through serious, evidential practice.
Mentoring — Strengthening the Bridge Over Time
Some students want more than a classroom; they want ongoing support as their bridge grows sturdier — refining technique, working through fear, and having someone experienced beside them as they develop.
Why the Bridge Has to Hold
I've done this work for many years — thousands of sittings, dozens of demonstrations, hundreds of students. A bridge only matters if it's trustworthy, so I tell you the truth about what comes through, not just what you want to hear.
